The Balvenie French Oak 16 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is a vibrant, refreshing expression with warm honey notes that is finished in casks that previously held wine from the French Charentes vineyards.The Balvenie French Oak is first aged 16 years in American oak casks that bring an abundance of vanilla spice and warm honey notes before being finished in Pineau casks that create notes of energizing grapefruit, geranium, glazed fruit and ginger. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks or with a splash of water to expand the flavor. The Balvenie is dedicated to the five rare crafts that are used to create The Balvenie’s distinctive taste. It is the only distillery that still grows its own barley, uses traditional floor maltings and keeps both coppersmiths and coopers on site – making The Balvenie one of the most handcrafted of malts. The Balvenie is a unique range of single malt whiskies produced in Dufftown, Scotland’s Speyside region. Created by internationally renowned Malt Master David C.
